Over 2,000 people tune in to watch Sermon Slam Grand Final

Robert Westall April 25, 2021

More than 2,000 people tuned in to watch The Sermon Slam Grand Final, presented and produced by Rob Westall.

The event is a highlight of the annual Cheltenham Christian Arts Festival. They approached Rob and the team to deliver this year’s grand final online for the first time ever, due to the Coronavirus restrictions.

Rob worked with organisers to design the event format, branding and technical aspects of the delivery, before hosting and producing the event live across the Festival’s social media platforms.

Finalists delivered 180 second sermons based on a Bible passage to a judging panel: Rev Chris Lee, Rev Ruth Fitter, Dai Woolridge and Rev Dr Alycia Timmis. Each sermon was judged on the clarity of the word/message and the quality of delivery, before the public voted for the overall winner. You can watch the final to see who won below.
